A Study On The Professional Ability Of Swimming Lifeguards In Fujian

The swimmer has an important role in ensuring the safety of life and property,which is of great significance to the development of the national fitness campaign.Using method of literature,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis and other research methods to set,select,construct the index structure of the Fujian province swimming lifeguard ability index system,and studying the level of ability at the same time.The results show that:(a)the number of swimmers in Fujian province is growing rapidly,and the group characteristics are better.In recent years,swimming lifeguard team has grown steadily in Fujian,the total annual growth rate are more than 1000 people,the main force of swimming lifeguard are men and the age is also younger,while the overall education level is higher,but the class level is low,the source is extensive,,mainly from college students and staff of the club in recent years.(b)there are three levels of the index system of swimming lifeguards in Fujian Province,which are composed of 39 indexes.There are 1 first level indicators,6 indicators of the two and 32 indicators of the three,together constituting the integrity of structure of the Fujian swimming lifeguard system structure,According to the degree of importance,the two levels of indicators in turn are technical ability,athletic ability,communication and cooperation ability,the management ability of the swimming pool,the ability of learning innovation and scientific research ability.(c)with the reference of the index system,investigating the actual performance of swimmer in Fujian province,and the ability of swimming lifeguards in Fujian province is shown as "general" level in each of the two indicators,The "swimming venue management ability" and "scientific research ability"is shown a "weak" state,On the whole,the professional ability of the swimmer is considered as "general" in Fujian province.(d)the research thinks that the reason why the swimmer's ability level in Fujian province is "general" should be that the training time of swimmer is starting late,mainly in the primary level,Training content is not comprehensive and thorough,training time can not meet the requirements of capacity-building,training base construction level is not high,training facilities and equipment support level is general.In the late management,there is a lack of appropriate retraining and management measures,Post threshold is relatively low,Wages and benefits are not high,all these leading the swimmer lacking of initiative and enthusiasm,Internal and external causes are account for the general level of swimming lifeguard vocational ability in Fujian province.In view of the above research,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the basis of extensive investigation and expert advice.
