| Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011 edition)has included "concept of data analysis",for the first time,in the core quality of the new curriculum standard.The core qua lity evaluation framework,evaluation index system and their implementation are important research subjects.On the one hand,"concept of data analysis" evaluation should follow the mathematical core accomplishment evaluation framework and evaluation index system.On the other hand,"concept of data analysis" is carried out according to its own evaluation framework and evaluation index system in concrete implementation.The key factor of accurate and reasonable evaluation of "concept of data analysis" is to fully understand the essence of core accomplishment,and to fully combine the specific situation of the course,teaching and learning.In this paper,the developing status of grade-nine students "concept of data analysis" is investigated and evaluated.We mainly consider students’ grasp of the knowledge of probability and statistics,and evaluate students’ ability in problem solving.This survey follows Pro.Zheng Yuxin’s research.Zheng put forward the overall guiding principle for the core compulsory education quality evaluation.We carry out the investigation according to the evaluation framework and evaluation index system for the compulsory education phase,developed by Prof.Tong Li.The survey included questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method,among which the questionnaire questions were selected from the relevant part of PISA 2012.Using the SPSS,this research analyzes the collected data and arrive at the conclusion in the following aspects.First of all,concept of data analysis of nine-grade students is better on the whole,and most students can reach the intermediate and advanced level.But some students are poor at the primary level.Second,students’ concepts of data analysis level in each dimension of performance is not bala nced,the students’ level in the "awareness of the data and sentiment" and "awareness of data analysis and comprehension" better than "phenomenon of the randomness of consciousness and perception of reality" of this dimension level.Thirdly,there are significant differences between urban and rural students’ concept of data analysis,and the overall level of students’ data analysis in cities is significantly higher than that of rural students.Fourth,the evaluation of students’ academic performance is correlated with the level of data analysis.Based on the analysis of the present situation,this paper also puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.Emphasize the infiltration “concept of data analysis”;Learn from experience;Use textbook resources creatively;Strengthen the teaching of information technology and the use in rural schools;Improve teachers’ ability of applying mathematics. |
