New character education is one of the main schools of moral education in American schools after the theory of moral cognitive development and value clarification.As main representative figure of the new character education lickona,is one of the leaders of the new character education movement,his new character education thought is the reflection and criticism of the theory and practice of western moral education,on the basis of deep excavating traditional virtue,based on their own education practice and The Times,new ideas of moral education.This thesis mainly has three parts:9The first part mainly introduces the social background and thought theory foundation of the new character education,and his education practice experience introduces the foundation of his thought.Since the 1970 s,America's political economy in the new era of conservatism,teenagers trapped in a prolonged extreme individualism and moral nihilism,in order to cope with the crisis of moral crisis,Lickona,on the basis of Aristotle's virtue ethics,fully absorb the moral cognitive development theory and the theory of pragmatism of moral education,moral education combined with their own practical experience,put forward the new theory of character education.The second part through the two aspects of theory and practice this paper introduces the Lickona recruiting the main content of character education thought,Lickona,responsibility and respect as the core of their system of moral values,put forward good character is the moral cognition,moral emotion and moral behavior of the three interconnected parts.In terms of the new education strategy,he maintains that schools,families and communities work together to build a network of moral education.In addition,he also put forward eleven principles of implementing effective character education.Rihner values traditional virtues and practical values,inheriting and transcending traditional character education theory and modern progressive theory of moral education.But at the same time,Lickona's character education thought also is very conservative,only to highlight the revised personal character,regardless of the reform of social political system,economic system,tend to rely on traditional moral binding force to solve the problem of social morality,and not go back the real social root causes,and some problems existing in the education practice.Through the second part analysis of Lickona character education thought and the practice of recruiting,together with the present situation of moral education in our country,the third part explores to rick recruiting character education thought enlightenment on moral education in our country.Strengthen the virtue education,pay attention to the core value spread;Integrate moral education resources to create integrated moral education mode;3.Focus on the student body and establish the overall moral education mode;Improve the evaluation system.
