The SWOT Analysis And Countermeasures Of Taekwondo In Colleges And Universities Of Harbin City

Physical education is an important part of school education,and the purpose of college physical education is not only to exercise,but also to cultivate students' consciousness of lifelong physical exercises.Taekwondo can promote students' normal level of physical growth,enhance physical fitness,and improve their ability to prevent and cure diseases,cultivating proper posture,shaping the body,thus promoting their assistance and communication effects,very suitable for the popularization and promotion among the students.This sport can not only improve students' physical health,but also promote the development of mental health and social adaptation with unique charm of Taekwondo culture.Presently,the students participate in Taekwondo in various ways: the University Taekwondo classes,associations,clubs are booming vigorously.But to better carry out the movement we are also facing many practical difficulties.This research is mainly conducted with methods of literature materials,questionnaire survey,interview,on-the-spot investigation,SWOT analysis,qualitative analysis and mathematical statistics.The research results show that Taekwondo sports in colleges and universities are popular with the majority of students,which are carried out through three channels respectively: school courses,associations and clubs.By using the SWOT analysis method to further sort out and analyze the data obtained,Taekwondo course in Colleges and universities is very popular with students,have a sound curriculum system and teaching outline,with the dual role of fitness and learning.Activities of the community to carry out the rich content,enrich the students after school life,the freedom and flexibility in the form of training.The club has the advantage of professional coach and professional training field.But it's found that college Taekwondo seems to work pretty well,but there are still many problems: shortage of teaching staff in curriculum,content unattractive to students,associations in lack of professional teachings,non-standardized management system,profitability of clubs that leads to the shortage of college and university learners,which are all factors influencing the development of University taekwondo.As to the curriculum,association and club,the corresponding measures for the problems are put forward.To better carry out the University Taekwondo,it's advisable for the colleges and universities to integrate the three sources of learning Taekwondo,develop collaboratively,work out the collaboration of common and sustainable development.The curriculum is set following students' suggestions to increase the reserves of Taekwondo teaching staff,provided with perfect venues and equipments to recruit Taekwondo teachers to make society guidance and management,and strengthening the exchange and cooperation between schools and clubs.The official organization of taekwondo competitions and exchanges between universities are proposed to promote the overall development level of college and university taekwondo in Harbin.
