MOOCs is an emerging mode of online learning in recent years.It has gained the attention of educators because of its merits including large-scale,high-quality,free and no space-time limit.However,the low completion rate indicates the poor learning experience of MOOCs.There are still a lot of limitations in MOOCs development.This study aims to build a learning satisfaction model focused on learning experience to explore the impact mechanism of learning satisfaction,and then analyze how learner characteristics,course types and learning motivations affect learning experience and satisfaction.Through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,the following main conclusions are drawn:MOOCs learners are basically satisfied,but there is still a lot of room for MOOCs satisfaction;course experience is the most important factor in learning experience,while social experience has a minimal impact;the differences of learning outcomes are mainly owing to the differences of course types and learning motivations.Lastly,this study puts forward some practical suggestions for MOOCs operators,teachers and learners.
