New Curriculum Standard advocates developing students’ comprehensive ability of language application is an important way,especially the ability of thinking and expression.As an important tool to think and express in language,writing plays an important role in English teaching,but the effects of English writing teaching model in senior high school are not satisfactory.However,with the development of information technology,information technology can create real context,it also can provide abundant resources and promote communication between teachers and students,which is helpful for students.In particular,flipped classroom which regards students as a center has been extensively applied to teaching.Therefore,the research introduces the flipped classroom into English writing teaching in high school to put forward with the teaching model of English writing on the basis of flipped classroom in senior high school ——“Two Subjects and Three Steps”.“Two Subjects” means teachers playing a leading role and students as the center;“Three Steps” means the teaching process is divided into three parts about online learning before class,face-to-face learning in class and online learning after class.The paper validates the effects of“Two Subjects and Three Steps”model with flipped classroom applied to English writing teaching in high school with two aspects about writing interest and writing scores to explore two questions.Firstly,What effects does“Two Subjects and Three Steps”model have on enhancing students’ interest in English writing? Secondly,What effects does“Two Subjects and Three Steps”model have on improving students’ English writing competence ?The research was carried out in the first middle school in Loudi and we chose 88 students from two classes of grade 1 as research subjects.There are 44 students in the experimental class and they are taught with“Two Subjects and Three Steps”teaching model.Besides,there are 44 students in the control class and the traditional teaching model of English writing was still used in the control class.The experiment has undergone for two terms.Tests and questionnaires were conducted as experimental tools and SPSS19.0 was applied for analyzing the data.The results of questionnaires imply that students’ English writing interest has been enhanced after the experiment.The results of writing tests indicate the English writing competence of experimental class and control class is equivalent in pretest,but after the experiment,the progress in writing scores of the experimental class is more significant than that of the control class.Therefore,the research demonstrates validity of “Two Subjects and Three Steps”teaching model in high school.This teaching model effectively enhances students’ English writing interest and improves students’ English writing competence.
