The story picture book is a collection of literariness and artistry,as the reading material for enlightenment education,it plays a special role in broadening children's vision,cultivating children's sentiment,improving children's language expression ability and promoting children's social development,and it is also the necessary curriculum resources in kindergarten education activities.From the perspective of reception aesthetics,the purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of kindergarten story book design,analyze its correspondence with children's reading acceptance,and put forward corresponding optimization strategies.Based on the perspective of reception aesthetics,this study explores "reader-centered",the fusion of horizon of expectations,the diversity of "text calling",and the aesthetic characteristics of "aesthetic pleasure",which are the four characteristics of kindergarten story picture book design.Through the methods of literature analysis,content analysis,interview,combined with mathematical statistics,this paper summarizes the design characteristics of the layout style,content system and value orientation of the kindergarten story picture book,and analyzes its rationa lity: First,about the layout style,the color of the cover is mainly blue,green,white,and the color of content is also dominated by cold hue,the warm colors that young children like are less used.Color matching needs to be further rationalized.More attention is paid to the artistry of the title,the independent arrangement of pictures and words is mainly adopted,and the design and arrangement of words are lack of innovation.The book size is mainly 24 and 16,the vertical version is widely used,and the format is relatively single,which can not to meet the reading needs of children.Second,in terms of content system,the main themes of the story are moral cultivation,interpersonal communication,norms of daily life,there are differences between the different grades,the fusion of story theme and children's expectation horizon needs to be improved.Story characters are mainly animals,and there are differences in personality between men and women.Parallel narration is mainly used,the narration between pictures and words lacks "blank",and the use of different narrative rhythms is biased.Third,in terms of value orientation,advocating the thought of interpersonal harmony and perfection,emphasizing the values of truth,goodness,but lack of domestic concern.Based on the above analysis,this research puts forward strategies to optimize the design of story picture books: from the exterior design,color matching should be complementary to promote the aesthetic pleasure of children;The layout of pictures and words should be situational to arouse children's aesthetic curiosity;The form of the picture book should be diversified to summon children to participate in reading.From internal design,we should enrich the content of the story so as to expand the horizon of children's expectation;Strengthen the narrative dialogue between pictures and words to create imagination space for children;Adhere to the design guidance of children as the center to ensure the reader status of children.
