According to the “ Curriculum Standard for Ordinary High School Physics ”(2017 Edition),Physics is considered as a basic natural science,studying the basic structure of materials,the most common interaction,the most common law of motion,the means of experiment and the way of thinking.Through scientific reasoning and demonstration in the course of teaching,this course forms a systematic research method and theoretical system to further improve the students' physical science literacy on the basis of compulsory education.With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum,the experimental teaching model of “independent inquiry” widely used in the present physics teaching helps to cultivate the students' consciousness of inquiry and the ability of self-study,and can also better reflect the characteristics of the subject.In the process of autonomous learning,students can not only learn physical knowledge,but also learn scientific physics experiment methods and scientific ideas and develop scientific experimental attitude.Under the guidance of Dewey's theory——“learning by doing” and constructivism,this paper first defines the core concepts of “independent inquiry”experimental teaching model and the required content of high school physics in Book 1.Besides,it also analyses the research achievements of autonomous teaching at home and abroad.Through the questionnaire survey between students and teachers in No 1 experimental middle school in Liupanshui,we find the problems in the experiment teaching in high school physics.Bases on the above mentioned,this essay targets how to apply “independent inquiry” experimental teaching mode to the experiment teaching in Book 1 in theory and practice as well as years of teaching experience.The results in theory and practice are as follows :1.Self-exploration experiment teaching mode is widely used in classroom demonstration experiment teaching,self-made experimental instrument,the digital experiment teaching as well as small family experiment.It also collates the physical knowledge points and academic cases suitable for the teaching mode.2.Combined with the requirements of physics experiment in physics curriculum standards and the problems existing in Self-exploration experiment teaching mode,three suggestions are put forward to better use independent inquiry learning in physics experiment teaching in the future,which will be able to assist other teachers who are interested in conducting this type of teaching in theory and practice.
