Whether the external stress event suffered by the individual really affects its mental and physical health depends to a large extent on the stress intensity of the stress event itself and the individual's own factors,especially the role of personality factors.And as a special personality traits-Stress Coping Personality(SCP),with the reduction of psychosomatic symptoms,maintaining the important role of mental and physical health.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance to explore the relationship between personality,stress events and psychosomatic symptoms,and for further revealing the mechanism of stress response to personality.It has important practical significance for the development of targeted mental health maintenance strategies.At the same time,can also provide inspiration for primary and secondary school mental health education.On the basis of summarizing the stress events,the SCP and the research on the relationship between stress,personality,and health,randomly selected more than 20 colleges and universities in 6 provinces of 1729 college students as subjects.Used the Scale of Stress Coping Personality,China Student Psychological Stress Scale(CCSPSS),and SCL-90 to measure the level of SCP,stress events and psychosomatic symptoms among 1729 college students of more than 20 colleges and universities in 6 provinces,examines the moderation or mediation of SCP between psychosomatic symptoms and stress events,So as to build a stress response to personality,stress events and psychosomatic symptoms of the relationship model.The reliability test,descriptive statistics,difference analysis,Spearman's correlation analysis,regression test,moderation and mediation effect test were performed in this study.Research indicates:(1)The total amount of stress events in college students in the middle and lower levels,the total pressure of boys was significantly higher than the total number of girls,senior pressure events were significantly higher than the freshman,sophomore and junior.(2)The stress coping personality of college students is at the upper level,and the difference of gender and grade is not significant.(3)The psychological symptoms of the college students were more prominent,the level of mental health was lower,there was no significant gender difference,but the grade difference was significant.The level of psychosomatic symptoms was significantly higher than that of freshman,sophomore and junior.(4)There was a significant positive correlation between stress events and psychosomatic symptoms,and there was a significant negative correlation between stress coping personality and psychosomatic symptoms,and there was a significant negative correlation between stress events and stress coping personality.Regression analysis showed that stress events and stress coping personality had significant predictive effects on psychosomatic symptoms.(5)Stress coping personality in the stress events and psychosomatic symptoms in the moderating effect is not significant.(6)Stress coping personality in Stress events and psychosomatic symptoms had significant part of the mediating effect.
