Our country's economy is at the hard time of industrial structure adjustment and economic growth pattern transformation at the current time.Lacking of large numbers of professional technical talents with specific vocational skills becomes the important bottleneck of economic structure transformation.As talent cult ivat ion and education inst itutions facing to society,colleges and universities in order to output the primary skills and services,secondary vocational schools play an important bridging role.Nowadays under more flexible education environment and special economic transformation period,it appears a series of phenomenons and problems,such as secondary vocational students difficult to employ,adapt and promote,enterprises difficult to recruit,select and install,secondary vocational school difficult to recruit,manage and employ.It also exists in my unit,Gansu Broadcast and Television School.How to cultivate a group of more competitive,meet the needs of professional occupation and output high-qualified secondary vocational students to colleges and universities,has become an urgent task for every secondary vocational schools as a part of competency quality education.This article attempt to make a contrastive analys is between the investigation of Gansu Broadcast and Televis ion School students' competency quality and employers' evaluat ion of Gansu Broadcast and Television School graduates' competency quality,analysis the reasons why secondary vocational students show such awful performance,and finally seek more effective ways and means to improve secondary vocational students' competency quality,also providing certain reference for other secondary vocational schools of competency education reform.This dissertation belongs to the direction of education & economic professional management,style of case analysis research.It takes Gansu Broadcast and Television School graduates and students as the object of research.Firstly the author points out some realist ic problems related to Gansu Broadcast and Televis ion School and hers graduates in recently years,with explain related concepts by documentary studies,then adopts the empirical methods,espec ially questionnaire survey and personal unstructured interview,combing quantitative,qualitat ive and comparative analys is on competency quality status performance between graduates(including entering college or university students)and secondary vocational present students of Gansu Broadcast and Television School,also with evaluat ion status of employing unit,fully explore the wide gap between Gansu Broadcast and Television School secondary vocational students' competency quality status and labor demands of employing unit,try to find out the cause of insufficient competency quality,at the end of article the author finally puts forward to the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures from the functions of the government,school functions,secondary vocational students' self cognitive ability and social or family functions to solve the problems.
