Research On Situation Creation Of Junior High School Geography

Along with the in-depth of the new curriculum reform,many new teaching methods and educational ideas have been put forward.New curriculum standards advocate designing geographical problems in the situation,to guide students to think and explore and return the initiative to the student,to stimulate students' learning motivation and pay attention to cultivating the students' comprehensive abilities.Therefore,the situation creation has been received by more and more first-tier geography teachers.Situation creation in middle school geography class has been used more and more extensively.Under the background of new curriculum reform,in order to implement the geography classroom teaching more effectively and improve the quality of geography classroom teaching,the author makes scientific research and exploration on creation of geography teaching situation in junior high school combine with my practice experience.At present,there are some researches on the establishment of geographical situation.But the research mainly focuses on the principle of creating situation,significance,strategies or a certain knowledge point of the situation creation.But there is only a little study in combination with specific classroom teaching practice to research the current situation of junior high school geography situation creation implementation,difficulties and obstacles in the process of creating situation,aiming at the existing problem of geographical situation creation process and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.It is hoped that this study can have a great reference to the teaching practice of junior middle school geography class.The thesis mainly starts from the following aspects:The first part mainly introduces the research background,significance,definition of basic concept,research status,content and method.In the second part,we conducted questionnaires and interviews with seventh and eighth grade students and geography teachers of eight junior middle schools of Chaling County to understand the understanding and attitude of junior high school students and geography teachers on the creation of geographical situation,the purpose,timing,precautions and main means of setting up the situation,and the implementation effect of the situation creation.The main problems existing in the process of settingup the situation are: teachers are not professional.The teaching task is heavy and class time is tight;Limitations of teaching conditions;The pressure of examinations;Lack of material in the situation;Students have a bad attitude towards study.The third part mainly elaborates the typical ways of setting up the geography teaching situation in junior middle school.The fourth part mainly puts forward corresponding strategies and Suggestions based on existing problems.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper.Junior high school geography situation creation should be guided by the geography course standard,starting from the junior middle school students' physical and mental characteristics,select materials which close to real life,in line with the teaching content,easy appropriate,creative and inspiring,conforms to the situation of teachers' teaching style material for creating situation.Geography teachers should constantly learn to improve their professional literacy and teaching skills.The school should carry out more teaching research activities,conduct collective lesson preparation,strengthen inter-school exchanges,and provide favorable atmosphere and environment for the creation of geographical teaching situation.Education administration should provide teachers with the opportunity to learn and exchange,and further improve education teaching evaluation system.
