A Study On The County-based Higher Education's Development Status In The Process Of Popularization

In recent years,as the external expansion of China's economic center,the process of county economy's development and urbanization construction are accelerating.And the higher education is moving toward the popularization stage step by step with the expansion of university enrollment,which brought the good opportunity for the development of county-based higher education.The development of county-based higher education,the construction of training base for county higher specialized talent,the establishment of county research and innovation center and the formation of interaction development pattern between universities and county economy will certainly provide a strong talent support for the development of county economy,technology and the guidance of thought,cultural.This paper uses literature method,the case comparison method,statistical analysis and other research methods to analyze and discuss the development of county-based higher education.Firstly,I defined the concept of higher education in county area clearly,which clarify the research object for follow-up study.Secondly explained the necessity of developing county-based higher education from the following four aspects: the development of county economy,the construction of new urbanization,the promotion of higher education fairness,the achievement of higher education popularization.Then,I sorted the present situation and problems of the development of county-based higher education from the literature collection.And I selected four colleges as cases to deeply analyze the difference between generalized county colleges and narrow county colleges.Through these methods I summarized the problems that exist in the development process of county-based higher education.In the end,after thinking about the development of county-based higher education,I pointed out that our country should vigorously develop the county-based higher education under the narrow concept in future incremental adjustment,oriented the college level reasonably on the basis of the county economy development situation and classify the organizational system of colleges on the basis of the county advantage resources.Our country also need break the traditional university education mode,shift the concept of recruitment and employment,and construct the county-based higher education system under the concept of “with local characteristic as the foundation based on the county and serve the county”.
