Health Promotion-the Practice And Reflection Of Medical Social Workers In Community Social Work

In the process of integrating medical social workers into Chinese medical and health environment,medical social workers have been active in practice and accumulation.But the relevant theories and experiences about the application of medical social workers in community social work are not suitable for China ' s national conditions.The elderly population in Shijingshan District of Beijing reached 88000.The body function of the elderly decreased and their control of their own bodies decreased.Due to the lack of education level and the ability to receive information,the degree of awareness of common chronic diseases was not very good.Faced with the uneven distribution of community medical institutions in the street,it is inevitable to go out,which has caused some problems to some old people who are aged at home and half-disabled.The medical care and health promotion of the elderly group in the community is a problem that can not be ignored.The health promotion project carried out by the CG Social work Office in Shijingshan District,Beijing,was carried out through the establishment of health archives in the community.To increase the understanding of health data among resi dents in the community,such as setting up work,promoting health knowledge,giving lectures,free consultations and outdoor exercise activities,etc.To promote the community elderly group to form the habit of health supervision and timely updating of heal th data,to raise the awareness rate of common chronic diseases of the elderly in the community,and to make the awareness rate of diseases of the elderly served in the community more than 80%.And to provide medical facilities for the elderly in the community care,through cooperation with the community,the community for the elderly to alleviate the pain of torture.Since the launch of the project,the goals have been achieved well,helping the elderly in the community to pay attention to,control over,and improve the quality of their health.The degree of awareness of related diseases has been improved,and the problems of community semi-incapacitation and incapacitation are reduced.At the same time,the propaganda of health knowledge and the formation of related ideas are also quite effective.Medical social workers who carry out health promotion services in the community are limited to their own medical resources and fail to meet expectations in terms of the depth and breadth of the services,although they have a certain frequency of sustainability.But there is still a need to consider the feasibility of resource integration and common services,to explore the ways and forms of services,to develop different types of activities according to different communities,and to carry out sustained and targeted medical activities in the community.Better promote the understanding and support of doctors and patients.At the same time,different from other types of social work,medical social workers should establish a firm belief and professional understanding and identity in their work,and continue to learn professional knowledge and medical related.Common sense,makes it in the service process more relaxed,better serves the object.
