The health of adolescents are the foundation for their social achievement in the future,and will affect the development of a country.With the development and progress of society,school health education is taken more attention to the world.That is to say,Health education is an important part of the education development.and it can ensure the student's lifelong learning.Today,school health education takes responsible for promoting the growth healthy of adolescents.therefore,the health education textbook becomes very necessary,and the quality of health education textbook will directly affect the adolescents health education.This study chooses "Teen Health" and "junior high school health education" as the research object.This study contains four methods which is literature method,comparative analysis method,statistical analysis method,content analysis method.In order to comparing the structure and content of this two textbooks.This study explores the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of textbooks by comparing the arrangement and content of health education textbooks in China and the United States.By constantly compiling the book,it can improve the textbook quality.What's more,it also can promote the healthy growth of adolescents.This article consists of six chapters: The first chapter introduces the research background,the purpose and significance of the study,the research object and the research methods,and the current research on health education in China and the United States.Chapter 2 defines the relevant concepts and introduces the basis of theoretical research.The third chapter introduces and contrasts the book gist.The fourth chapter compares the differences between the two textbooks,and discusses the function of different columns.The fifth chapter analyzes the content,and makes a comparative analysis of the content.The last chapter,the author summarizes the research results and gives some suggestions on the preparation of health education textbook in China.The comparison of the two textbook shows that the "Teen Health " have clear teaching objectives,vivid composition,live language,rich content,useful skills and the book focus the healthy abilities and independent abilities of the adolescents.The content of "Teen Health" is consider the cognition of those adolescents,and enhance the difficulty of content year by year.The content of "Junior high school health education" pay much attention to basic knowledge and learning skills,because the book author consider the educational situation of china and the burden of students.But the content and structure of the arrangement are relatively monotonous,and it puts more attention on basic knowledge learning.There are still many aspects can be improved in "Junior high school health education".
