The pursuit of excellent education in the world-class universities should be returned to the classroom teaching,focusing on classroom teaching evaluation,and guiding classroom teaching to practice new teaching concepts and promote new teaching models through its value-oriented role.However,the current classroom teaching evaluation index system is too old and rigid to comply with the educational philosophy in the new era,and the traditional classroom teaching model has been unable to meet the demands of the new concept,especially in the context of taking " peopleoriented","call for innovation",and " building “Double Word-class " as the theme now.Moreover,the phenomenon of "one meter to measure multiple schools" is extremely common.The evaluation index system for classroom teaching used by research universities and colleges is almost the same,and it does not highlight the elitism and teaching of its teaching goals,the academic nature of the contents and the exploration of teaching methods.This paper combines the educational needs in the new era with the undergraduate teaching characteristics of research universities to reconstru ct the undergraduate classroom teaching evaluation index system of research universities.Firstly,based on the analysis of the current social needs and the characteristics of the times through the literature study,the research-oriented university classroom teaching evaluation index system theory framework is constructed under the background of "Double Word-class ".Then,through the theoretical deduction under the guidance of theory of the Humanism,Constructivism,the Educational Goal Taxonomy of Bloom,and the undergraduate class teaching characteristics of the research-oriented universities,it tests and revises the evaluation scale by consulting the first-line teachers and students,and using the single factor variance analysis,factor analysis,structural equation model and other methods in this study.Finally,the system structure of the 6-dimension 29-item index is established and the index weight and evaluation grade is given.The result shows that the evaluation index system of undergraduate teaching of the researchoriented universities is of good reliability reliability and validity with cross-sample stability and consistency;the perspectives of front-line teachers have the reliability of experts;the teachers and students highly affirm the importance of interaction,procedural knowledge and heuristic teaching;students pay more attention to teacher-student relationship and teachers lay more stress on the learning effect and attitude.Constructing the research-based undergraduate classroom teaching evaluation index system aims at guiding the transformation of the concept of teaching and learning of teachers and students in research universities,perfecting the teaching and learning methods,improving the quality of teaching and learning,and promoting the common development of teachers and students.Meanwhile,it also provides a method for scientifically constructing evaluation indicators of classroom teaching in research universities,which can adjust and formulate a new classroom teaching evaluation index system according to the teaching objectives and new teaching concepts.Furthermore,it should be emphasized that this evaluation index system is mainly applicable to the evaluation subject of teachers and students.
