The class teaching which is produced in the17th century has the symbol of the emergence of the classroom education, and the evaluation of classroom teaching quality has formed which is changed with the development of the theory of education and classroom teaching model. From Taylor model to Bloom model, the foreign classroom teaching evaluation has undergone diversified development. On the basis of overseas experience and combing our national education, our nation’s classroom teaching quality evaluation has also gained remarkable achievements.Entering into the21st century, the higher education in our nation has changed from elite education to mass education.There have been growing voice for the higher education turning into the quality promotion from the scale expansion along with over ten years development. Especially in recent years, the quality of higher education in our nation has attracted much attention."To focus on improving educational quality" is put forward in The Report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is also stressed by the government. As the undergraduate education is the basis of higher education, the classroom teaching quality of undergraduate education is the key to the quality of higher education. How to evaluate the classroom teaching quality of undergraduate education has become a significant research topic before us.This research is divided by six chapters.The first chapter is a introduction mainly introducing the background of the subject, research significance, the research status at home and abroad, research thinking and methods.The second chapter defines the connotation of classroom teaching quality evaluation of undergraduate education including the key concepts such as the evaluation essence, classroom teaching quality evaluation, the index system of classroom teaching quality evaluation of undergraduate education and so on. The third chapter studies the problems existing in the the index system of classroom teaching quality evaluation of undergraduate education.The fourth chapter put forwards solutions to the problems existing in the the index system of classroom teaching quality evaluation of undergraduate education, seven principles to compile the index system and specific strategies. The fifth chapter introduces the compilation of undergraduate classroom teaching quality evaluation index system of colleges and universities. Through the interviewing method and combining with the ideas of expert teachers, I improve and optimize the first draft of index system. At last, the undergraduate classroom teaching quality evaluation index system comes into being, for which I make introductions.The sixth chapter is epilogue.
