Modern prose have been an indispensable part of middle school's Chinese textbook all along.Therefore,while teaching Chinese,paying great attention to the teaching method of modern prose is very important.Not only can it cultivate the reading ability of students,it also has great effect of promoting their aesthetic sentiment and humanistic attainments.Under the guidance of new curriculum standard and on the base of teaching modern prose,this essay explores how to teach modern prose,and proposes the specific way to teach it,thereby improving the teaching quality.This essay,using the modern prose in middle school's Chinese textbook as an example,tries to find the common method of teaching modern prose.After reading great amounts of documents and uniting the current teaching situation of modern prose,this essay elaborates in four parts:Firstly,to organize the selected modern prose of Chinese textbook and current teaching situation.This essay explains the former from the account and arrangement of the selected prose,and analyzes the latter in order to the follow-up research.Secondly,to explain the theoretic basis and case analyzing of teaching modern prose.According to educational psychology,reception aesthetics,reception theory and new curriculum standard,this essay explains the theoretic basis of the common teaching method.Thirdly,to explore the common teaching method of modern prose in middle school's Chinese textbook published by PEP.This is the core part of the essay.It proposes the relative teaching method for different prose types for teachers to choose and use.Fourthly,to design particular case on the base of common teaching method of modern prose.This essay chooses two modern prose as particular cases to put the teaching method into real use.The common teaching method brought by this essay tries to find out the unique value and meaning of modern prose,and provide reference for teaching it,and cultivate students' knowledge and humanity attainments,finally achieve the goal of promoting the teaching level.
