Physics textbook illustration is an important part of physics teaching material,and it is also one of the main carriers of physical knowledge,but the illustrations of junior high school physics textbooks have not been fully utilized by teachers and students.In view of this situation,this paper investigates the present situation of the illustrations of Physics Textbooks in junior middle school in Guiyang by using the method of literature,sampling survey and statistical analysis,and classifies the illustrations of Physics Textbooks in Shanghai junior middle school,and on this basis puts forward the strategy of using the illustrations of the primary physics textbooks on this basis.The full text can be summed up in the following three parts:The first part is the theoretical part,which mainly analyzes the research status of the scholars at home and abroad,and explains the significance of the physics textbook illustrations to the teaching from the behaviorist learning theory,the cognitive learning theory,the constructivist learning theory,and the psychology.The second part is the classified statistical analysis of questionnaires and illustrations of junior high school physics textbooks.The questionnaire is divided into the students' questionnaire and the teacher questionnaire.The student questionnaire is mainly to understand the students' interest in the textbook illustrations,the attitude and the analysis of the methods and ability of the illustrations.The teachers' questionnaire is mainly to understand the situation of the teachers to guide the students to interpret the illustrations,to treat the attitude of the illustrations in the textbooks,to train the students to interpret the illustrations.Through the investigation of the present situation of physics textbook illustrations by teachers and students in Guiyang,the results show that most junior high school students are very interested in the illustrations.Compared with the text,the illustrations are more likely to attract their attention.Most junior high school students know the illustrations on the surface.They do not realize the importance of illustrations to physical learning.They do not actively explore the physical information of the illustrations,and lack the spirit of active analysis and interpretation of the illustrations.Most students do not have the ability to analyze and interpret illustrations.Most teachers don't really realize the importance of physics textbooks to physics teaching.In the ordinary teaching,most teachers seldom guide students to read and dig the information of illustrations,and do not pay attention to the methods and abilities of training students to analyze and interpret the illustrations of physical textbooks during the normal teaching process.According to the function,presentation and content of the physics textbook illustrations in Shanghai Science Edition,the results show that the textbook illustrations can be divided into decorative illustrations,representational illustrations,interpretative illustrations and organized illustrations according to functional classification.The representation and explanatory illustrations are occupied in textbooks.This is due to the introduction of many physical concepts,physical laws and physical principles in physics textbooks.These two types of illustrations can explain these physical knowledge more intuitively and concretely.According to the presentation,the illustrations can be divided into graph illustrations,physical illustrations,cartoon illustrations and schematic illustrations,in which the proportion of illustrations is the largest,and the proportion of kind illustrations is second only to the schematic illustrations.According to the content classification,the illustrations can be divided into life class illustrations,experimental illustrations,theoretical illustrations and emotional education illustrations.The proportion of life type illustrations is the largest.The arrangement of these illustrations embodies the idea that physics teaching should guide students from physics to life,and the emotional education class in the nine grade textbooks Illustration accounts for a large proportion of students in grade eight,which shows that with the deepening of physics learning,students' emotional education is becoming more and more important in physics teaching.The third part is based on the actual situation of the teachers and students of Guiyang junior high school in the use of physical textbook illustrations and the characteristics and functions of various kinds of textbook illustrations,and put forward the strategy of using various textbook illustrations.
