Since the 1980 s,with the flow of urban and rural populations,more and more rural people have entered the city to work,do business and live,and the migration model has also changed from individual to family,and the trend of long-term residence and settlement has become obvious.The impact of migration on the growth and development of migrant children has been a hot topic of public,government and academic discussion.Lanzhou City is a multi-ethnic city that attracts migrants from ethnic minorities in Guanghe County and Dongxiang County to work in cities.The intervention service of social workers and practical researchers is the Dongxiang and Hui migrants living in the Z community in Lanzhou.These ethnic minority people believe in Islam.After entering Lanzhou City,they usually choose to live around the mosque.When their children enter new schools and face new teachers,classmates and new environments,they may show problems such as decreased academic performance,obstacles in interpersonal communication,and poor behavioral habits.The researchers used the methods of participation observation,questionnaires and interviews to assess the adaptation of migrant children in these ethnic groups.It is found that the migrant children of the Z community have the following problems in school adaptation.The school's maladaptive performance is:(1)the performance is obviously declining,the learning method is not good,the learning interest is low;(2)do not dare to express their own ideas,have a strong sense of inferiority(3)interpersonal barriers,solve interpersonal problems The conflict method is not good;(4)non-compliance with classroom discipline,behavior is loose and unconstrained;based on the above questions,social workers implement group intervention on the research object.Through seven series of group activities,the study helps them to interact,interact,gain affirmation and support in the event,recognize their own strengths and enhance their self-confidence.Learn interpersonal skills and learn tosolve interpersonal problems.Learn good learning and behavioral habits to improve your school's adaptation.After the intervention of the group,the changes of children's school adaptation before and after the intervention were evaluated.The results showed that:(1)the group members dared to express themselves after the intervention,and the self-confidence was significantly enhanced;(2)mastered certain interpersonal skills and ability.Actively integrate into group activities;(3)Can abide by classroom discipline,constrain their behavior,and master certain learning methods and techniques.The performance of the comprehensive team members before and after the intervention,this study believes that this group intervention is more effective in improving the adaptation of minority children in schools.
