The education of migrant children has always been the country’s focus and is also a focus of research by experts and scholars.However,their research focuses on migrant children and left-behind children,but studies on special groups of moving-back migrant children is less.Moving-back children of migrant workers who are in the stage of rapid physical and mental development are faced with a completely new environment.They are not accompanied by their parents,and they often experience incompatibility in all aspects.In this context,it is very urgent to pay close attention to the school’s adaptation to the children of rural migrant workers.This article will take the moving-back children of migrant workers as the research object,based on domestic and foreign research results and social support theory,advantage perspective theory and social learning theory,through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview methods,to the X middle school 35 Investigators of children of migrant workers returned home to conduct in-depth surveys to understand the current situation of schools adapting to the children of rural migrant workers from X Middle School.The survey found that 62.9% of the children of rural migrant workers had obvious maladjustment in terms of learning adaptation,interpersonal relationship adaptation,school environment adaptation,and language adaptation.Based on the specific needs expressed by the children of returning migrant workers,the project design and implementation of school adaptation for returning rural migrant workers was conducted through the method of group work intervention,and the effectiveness of the implementation was evaluated.After the intervention of social work,the children of returning rural migrant workers have improved their adaptability in learning adaptation,interpersonal relationship adaptation,school environmentadaptation and language adaptation,established good interpersonal relationships,and are more adaptable to the school’s living environment.Mastered more and better ways of learning,using domestic dialects to communicate with teachers and classmates more smoothly,and the development team basically achieved the goal of the group.The research shows that the working methods of group work in social work have certain feasibility and validity in solving school adaptation problems for migrant rural children who return home.For this reason,this method can be adopted in future school social work and put into practice,so that moving-back children of migrant workers can better adapt to the new learning and living environment and grow more actively and healthily.
