Nowadays, the deepening of international trade liberalization and increasing economic globalization have given birth to governmental procurement. Governmental procurement is also known as "trading under the sun", which has become one of the vital means for governments of all countries to implement social and economic management. Governmental procurement has shown great impact on realizing the economic target since it is implemented in China. It has become am vital mode for enhancing efficiency and transparency in the use of government funds, especially in economically developed regions like the city of Shenzhen. In 2012, Shenzhen has accomplished 1445 procurement programs, which worth 3.573 billion RMB. However, there also exist all kinds of problems while practicing governmental procurement, which has aroused great notice. How to further improve the supervision mechanism of government procurement becomes an urgent research topic, and this is why the author chooses to write this article.The article is divided into five parts. The author firstly analyzes the content and meaning of supervision mechanism of government procurement, as well as its principles. Advanced experiences and mature approaches from developed countries are introduced in the third chapter. The author conducts an in-depth analysis on the current problems of supervision mechanism of government procurement in Shenzhen, based on the practice of current reality of the city's government procurement. And he also pays special attention to Luohu district, where several innovations are carried out to strengthen the supervision mechanism. This article finally proposes five methods to improve the supervision mechanism of governmental procurement for the whole city.Researches on supervision mechanism of governmental procurement are still not enough nowadays. The author hopes that this article may provide help in this area.
