| SAS is a large joint venture enterprise which produces High- voltage switchgear equipment. It includes R&D, project management and production in whole process. The business of company continually grows lately. After be merged by S group three years ago, the sales increased rapidly. But there are some problems of staff management were found after the merging. Especially of Engineering department, many complain about unfair pay and income appeared form the employee, who refuses to work overtime and consider leaving. During the SAS company transition period, we select the Engineering department as research objects. Through the investigation of SAS Engineering department employee’s job satisfaction to find the problems and give some suggestions though.Through collecting relevant theories and literature on employee job satisfaction, studying and referencing staff job satisfaction evaluation index, combining with the actual situation of SAS Company and Engineering department, finally established the SAS Engineering department employee satisfaction evaluation index and staff interview questionnaire. After analysis reliability consistency of the questionnaire, it was distributed to engineering department staff. Using statistical and other analysis methods, found the factors influencing employees’ job satisfaction mainly in three aspects which are the returns of work, enterprise management and working background. Unfair of overtime pay and wages, not enough training and opportunities, lack of recognition and reward incentive is the main problems in work return. Employees not very clear about the business vision and strategy are the main problems in enterprise management. Insufficient of work system, imperfect logistics and environment are the main problems in work background.According to the analysis, suggestions like to make a fair salary system, complete employee satisfaction management system and release effective employee incentive mechanism was presented. With these suggestions it will help improve the Engineering department staff satisfaction effectively. |
