| In recent years, the rapid spread of mobile Internet has promoted the quick development of software services. Thus, this brings the higher demands on software development. That is, under the ever-changing customer demands and technology application, we need to provide fast-paced software demand to meet changing trends of the market. How the project teams respond the customers’request quickly and provide high-quality solution in fierce market competition, this has become the key factor in successful software project. This also makes project management face the new challenges. Scrum project management is produced in such background.I company is the foreign-owned enterprise with more than 100 years history. With the rise of mobile internet, social networking, cloud computing, big data, the new emerging forces rise rapidly and occupy the market. The former IT industry leader gradually lost its competitive advantage, and have to rethink the entire dynamic of the IT industry and adjust accordingly. The background of this article is I company’s existing software project management model. Through describing the problems in its project team, project process management and project risks in details, I made the analysis and found the causes of the problems. To solve the above problems, we decide to adopt Scrum project management framework and reconstruct project team, project process management and supervision mechanism. On the one hand, we hope to reduce the repetitive work, reduce rework rate and increase interaction with customers by using Scrum project management, effectively control the process of the project, improve it’s supervision mechanism as a whole. On the other hand, we hope to optimize the existing development process, to set up self-organized development team, to strength the collaboration of the team members, to improve the working efficiency and product quality through implementing the Scrum project management.Although the Scrum project management methodology looks simple and easy to understand, but it’s difficult to master. This methodology is not to answer the problems that encountered in the development process and provide the solution directly. But to help the project team to identify the problems and the potential issues that may hinder the process of the project, and then look for solution. |
