Procurement is an important economic activity of enterprises. To some extent, it determines whether manufacturing enterprises, even the entire supply chain, can be successful. Thus, it is necessary for the enterprise to construct an efficient system of procurement managementFortunately, the agile supply chain theory which highlights improving efficiency of the supply and demand, provides a new way for the effective procurement mechanism. Thus, researches related to this type of procurement mechanism have a great significance for the survival and development of enterprises.This dissertation conduct a case study in Tianjin branch of CNOOC. It focuses on the analysis of procurement management system of this enterprise. We filter, compare, and analyze the data related to purchasing index by using mathematical statistic method to find the influence of these indexes on agile purchasing. We further make questionnaires survey in employees with different departments and organizational levels. By employing ASME and agile supply chain theory, results indicate which the problems and their antecedents in the procurement of this company. Based on this point, we propose targeted strategies to solve the problems. With this case study, this dissertation not only help this company promote procurement management but provide the feasible guide for addressing the application of agile supply chain.
