An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Network Construction On Incubator Performance

With the development of campaign��mass entrepreneyrship and innovation, China has reached the peak of innovation. As an important platform for the cultivation of entrepreneurs and supporting entrepreneurial enterprises, incubator undertakes the important mission to promote regional economic development, and accelerate the transformation of industrial structure.With the progress of the times and the development of the industry, the incubator's functions need to be further improved, the services need to be further deepened, so the network has become the main trend of development of incubator. This article analyze incubator network operation mechanism, incubator network members, the connection of the network members, the driving factors of incubator network construction,which has great significance to incubator managers for further construction. At the same time, this article uses Tianjin incubator network's construction as the object of study.And, this article collected relevant data and literature and did empirical research on the influence of incubator network construction to Incubator performance, in order to provide more feasible suggestions to the incubator network management.Firstly this paper make a review of the domestic and foreign relevant incubator network literature. This article generalizes and analyzes the connotation and classification of science and technology business incubator, the connotation and operation mechanism of incubator network, the influencing factors, measurement methods and metrics of Incubator performance. In our country, the research of incubator is not deep enough, and is in the theoretical stage. Research indicators are mostly subjective data. There is little research on the effect of incubator network construction on performance.This article then uses innovation theory, regional economic development theory, life cycle theory and network organization theory as a guide to build incubator network construction model,to classify the network node and to summarize the driving factors of incubator network construction and development.Then this article takes the Tianjin City 48 approved municipal and national incubators as the research objects,collecting the incubator network performance and incubator network construction situation of 20 specific indexes(7 performance variables, 13 network construction variables) for the empirical analysis. Firstly, principal component analysis is carried out on 7 performance indicators. This article summarizes the social performance, technological innovation performance and operation performance of three principal components. Secondly, this article makes correlation analysis on the 13 network construction indicators and three performance indicators to study the correlativity between them.Thirdly this article Uses 13 network construction variables to make multiple regression analysis of the three performance indicators to see if the network construction of incubator has a significant impact on performance.Then this article uses the stepwise regression method to screen out the most significant network construction indicators of the performance of the incubator, and analyzes the significant degree of indicators and positive and negative impact between them. Writer finds that the number of enterprises in incubator has a significantly positive effect on social benefit performance and technological innovation performance, but has a negative impact on operating performance which means Incubator network has scale benefit,and,at the same time,Tianjin incubator management level needs to be improved. Value nodes show a significant positive effect on innovation performance.The two indexs of the fund node have negative effect on social performance and technological innovation performance, and only have a positive effect on the operating performance which reflects that the efficiency of capital operation is low and the management mechanism is not reasonable. The construction of intermediary network node has a significant positive impact on the social benefit and innovation performance of incubator, and has a negative impact on operating performance. The guiding node, which is the government's support, has positive significance in innovation performance and operation performance of incubator. The cultural atmosphere node mainly displays the positive influence on the innovation performance of incubator.In the end, this paper describes the general situation and organizational structure of the incubator in Tianjin city,summarizes the current situation of the incubator network construction and point out the achievements and deficiencies of the network construction of incubator in Tianjin City. Finally this article makes suggestion from strengthening the construction of incubating enterprises, improving the incubator management level, expanding financing channels and improving capital management mode, deepening the incubator network intermediary service function, strengthen government support this five angles.
