A Study On The Intensive-leading Promotion Model Of Sericulture Technology In Guangxi

This paper, by analyzing the successful experiences on the promotion of sericulture technology both at home and abroad, combines the main technology and Promotional activities of sericulture development in Guangxi to study the intensive-leading promotion model of sericulture technology in Guangxi. The summarization shows that the unique management system, operation mode and the incorporate technology research and development promotion system in Guangxi can make the main technology be targeted to put into the front line production by carrying out promotional activities. This study found that there are the following aspects of problems in Guangxi sericulture:first, the high risk in market leads to the production risk, and it is lack of technical personnel and weak in developing silkworm resources; second, the promotion agency is weak in promoting, which leads to the weak ability to research and develop for cocoon silk enterprises. It is also lack of professional management and funds in cooperatives and researches and development for technology in some related colleges and universities. Third, there are too few personnel to promote the sericulture technology in operation mode. Besides, sericulturists are low in comprehensive quality, and the role of associations, scientific research institutions, enterprises and cooperatives has not been emphasized and played. In addition, it is weak of the information service ability and insufficient of the operating funds in sericulture. To cure the above three aspects of problems, this paper provides the following three suggestions:first, government departments at all levels should strengthen their support for developing the industry, and promotion agencies should continue to improve their function to solid their foundation. Second, they should strengthen the cooperation with other scientific research institutions and the contacts with cocoon enterprises, and establish a complete, multi-function technology popularization mode by silkworm cooperative serving sericulturists. Third, the construction of informatization should also be strengthened in sericulture. In addition, making good use of the "Micro Age" produced by smart phone, the government should encourage the establishment of paid non-governmental technical service institutions to build high-end brand for silkworm products.
