Human resource is the most active and creative element of productive forces and the first resource of the society, and also the important capital of the enterprise. In recent years, oil companies have begun to participate in the global competition. In the past two years, the international crude oil prices have continued to hover in the low, oil companies have experienced great changes, the relative lag of human resource management issues are highlighted, the current situation of human resource management needs to be improved, GS oil production plant in Liaohe oilfield company belongs to this situation. By studying from domestic and foreign advanced human resource management theory and experience, this article finds the problems and hidden dangers in the practice of human resource management, and proposes corrective measures for specific problems, provides reference to solve the problem of human resource management, and promotes development of oil production plant.This article is mainly based on the theory of the six modules of human resource management. Through analyzing the basic situation of the oil plant's human resources, it focuses on the analysis of the GS oil production plant in the process of human resource management, unreasonable internal recruitment and promotion system, insufficient human resources training, lacking of effectiveness in performance appraisal mechanism, lacking of incentive pay distribution system, complicated and confusing labor organization. By means of questionnaire and other methods, it analyses the causes of human resource management in GS oil production plant. Finally, combining with the problems existing, it puts forward the scientific development of human resources planning, improving the internal recruitment and promotion system, strengthening the training of human resources, improving performance appraisal system, flexible adjustment of salary distribution system, streamlining labor organization, and building a corporate culture to adapt to the new situation etc, solves the problems of human resource management, improves the staff's enthusiasm and organizational action in GS oil production plant.
