China enjoys a long history of tea production and selling,but there is still a long way to go to be a power in this aspect.Tea has played an essential role in boosting national economy,therefore it's an urgent task to rejuvenate and develop tea industry and there's an uphill journey ahead.Tea enterprise,as the medium of tea production,selling and movement,it plays a leading role in affecting the development of tea industry.Consequently,the development of tea enterprises has a stake in the development of tea industry.Since the entry of the 21 st century,with the deepening of globalization,the competition of tea markets has become increasingly fierce both at home and abroad.Against this backdrop,tea enterprises are confronted with great challenges and they are focusing on these core issues such as how to survive,develop and grow.The rapid development of information and technology has boosted the development of E-commerce,many tea enterprises have an itch for trying E-commerce,they hope to break the traditional constraints and adjust their management and operation patterns,accelerate product development,explore new sales channels so as to cope with the fierce competition and challenges from home and abroad.E-commerce applied by tea enterprises is different from other industries in that customers have a stronger desire of experiencing the product,that is before they buy tea,they hope that they can taste it.Nevertheless,the role played by E-commerce in enhancing the competitiveness of tea enterprises can not be neglected.Thus,it is of great importance and necessity to study the role played by E-commerce in enhancing the competitiveness of tea enterprises.This study has integrated many research methods such as literature research,theoretical analysis,case analysis and investigation and survey.Based on the existing research results,taking the production and management of tea enterprises into consideration,from the perspective of management,the conclusion can be drawn that E-commerce can effectively enhance the competitiveness of tea enterprises.Through the analysis of the status of tea enterprises management and development,from the aspects of necessity and feasibility,the role of E-commerce played in enhancing the competitiveness of tea enterprises has been displayed.In addition,E-commerce can make up the deficiency of tea enterprises management and operation.By analyzing the status of the application of E-commerce in tea enterprises,conclusion can be drawn that despite of the achievements made by tea enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness,there's stilllarge room for further improvement.Therefore,some suggestions on how to further enhance the competitiveness of tea enterprises and how to overcome shortcomings have been provided based on the aspects of E-commerce application process management,customer relation management,supply chain management,crisis management and product development management,etc.
