As the economy comes into the new normal, the economic transformation and industrial upgrading bring great challenges as well as opportunities to the human capital management of enterprises. New economy such as Industrial 4.0 continually change human capital management model. Human capital needs to play an effective leverage to realize strategy of the enterprise. At the same time, the human capital of enterprises is proved to be insufficient and high liquid. Human capital is improved by investment. Through efficient human capital investment management, the investment efficiency of the company could be enhanced. High-tech enterprises urgently need to raise investment to improve human capital stock, to broaden channels of career development to reduce turnover, to maximize the benefit of the investment. This paper takes Y Company as the case to study human capital investment management.This paper defines human capital, human capital investment first. Then it analyzes the influence of the enterprise strategic on human capital investment. It puts forward methods for human capital investment from the perspective of cost and benefit. In the analysis of human capital investment form and cost-benefit, some problems are found:wrong investment orientation, insufficient input, imperfect management principle and poor performance evaluation. Some measures are proposed to solve the problem. Make a strategy-oriented planning for human capital investment. Increase the investment amount. Optimize investment management principles. Finally, strengthen benefit accounting. More accounting methods would provide clear evidence in benefit analysis, which would be good feedback in investment planning. Thus, a virtuous circle is created.The challenges enterprises facing is how to plan human capital investment to make its service in the enterprise development strategy. Establishing a scientific human capital management project is significant in improving the stock and quality of human capital of Y Company. At the same time, it could be a reference for the same types of enterprises.
