Research On The Effect Of Technological Innovation Efficiency On Chinese Manufacturing Export Product Quality Upgrading

Since reform and opening up, the manufacturing trade of China has rapidly developed. However, with the deteriorating international trade situation and increasing domestic labor and raw material cost recent years, the advantage of export product price came under attack. It is necessary to study on improve the product quality. This essay was researched the problem from the point of the efficiency of technical innovation.The essay said in theory first that the quality of export product means "the satisfaction degree of consumers to a group of inherent characteristic of the product", Then regarded the technical innovation as the chained activities, which comprised with technology research and transformation. Finally, the essay testified in theory that the improvement of the efficiency of the tow period of technical innovation was conductive to improve the quality of export product.As to the empirical part, The essay measured the product quality level of 26 secondary industry of manufacturing industry in China with export quality index, which created by Hallak&Schoot(2011). Then measured the technical innovation efficient by index method, which conducted by DEA-Malmquist. Then built the mode testified the contribution degree of the improvement of technical innovation efficiency to the improvement of product quality.Eventually it got the conclusion:the improve of synthesis technical innovation efficiency can significantly promote the improve of product quality; the influence, from technical innovation efficiency to the product quality improvement, is remarkable in the high-tech industry, and the most powerful influential effect exists in the technological industry. Based on the analysis mentioned above, the essay came up with the policies as follows:the high-tech industry should strive to develop their independent research and development activities. For the mid-tech industry, it is more suitable for them to introduce the advanced technology. The low-tech industry and resource-based industry should accelerate the transition.
