The improvement of LED with more clear and exquisite display makes liquid crystal industry comes into the attention of the public, which turns generally and spreads rapidly in our life and working. China has introduced the LCD industry with unprecedented open policy and low-cost labor in recent ten years, which makes China become the world's largest LCD industry base. Japan?Korea and Taiwan of China held on the big three in the LCD panel industry before 2000 years ago, however China's mainland has become the backbone of LCD panel industry now and the situation has become four foot in the word. We have to do research about supplier selection and evaluation of the LCD panel industry.This thesis starts from the content of LCD panel parts supplier selection and evaluation as the first step of supplier management strategy, and combines with the current research of supplier selection and evaluation at cosmetic and abroad, and applies related theory of supply chain and supply chain's management, expanding to analyze the development history of crystal industry?the current situation of supply chain in crystal industry and the mode of LCD panel parts supplier selection and evaluation. This thesis also carries out the design and research from four parts containing the classification of current supplier ? supplier development and management?implement of supplier selection and audit?supplier evaluation taking a TFT-LCD panel maker for example.This thesis puts forward to the limitations and improvement suggestions of supplier selection and evaluation in current LCD panel industry, and classifies the supplier level with suitable Kraljic model for current TFT-LCD makers according to individual ten years' experience of supplier management, and adds the supplier development and management process as the important premise of deepening the supplier selection and evaluation, which is different from the other research at the same time, and get thoroughly and particularly the steps and main points of how to implement supplier selection and evaluation. At last, this thesis puts forward to how to implement and apply supplier evaluation to end the supplier management strategy.The innovation of this thesis is that different supplier should have the different contents about supplier evaluation index. The research content of this thesis can provide actual guide suggestions for domestic rising related panel makers, andoptimize supply chain management, and reach the best cost advantage of supply chain.
