Entrepreneurship is the engine and the driving force of national and regional economic development, it can create employment opportunities, and also to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and technological innovation. At the process of Chinese transformation, new ventures are in great mobility and flexibility, but due to disadvantages such as "defects in new entry" and small scale, new ventures face greater market risk and high risk of competition. So new enterprises should make good use of social network and breakthrough constraints like short of entrepreneurial resource, to achieve development.This paper explores the relationship between new venture's social network and their entrepreneurial performance and tests the role of resources acquisition as mediated variable. By reviewing related theories and literatures about entrepreneurship research, this paper builds the empirical analysis frameworks of social network, resources acquisition and new venture growth based on the combination of reality and the results of previous studies then puts forward the hypothesis. Finally, this paper makes verification on empirical framework of influencing factors of new ventures through applying the sample data of new ventures and tests the relationship among social network, resources acquisition and new venture growth.The results of the study show that cooperation satisfaction (one dimension of social network) have a positive impact on the growth of new ventures, which means the higher degree of cooperation satisfaction between new ventures and members of the family, acquaintances, business associates and partners' knowledge and political partner, the growth of new ventures will be promoted. And the influence of social network in the other two dimensions, namely the closeness and the contact frequency have insignificant influence on new venture growth. Cooperation satisfaction has a positive impact on information resources acquisition and financial resources acquisition, and human resource acquisition. But resources acquisition has insignificant influence on new venture growth.Compared with the previous research, this paper uses a questionnaire survey and empirical analysis to investigate the relationship of social network, entrepreneurial resources and new venture growth. And to measure social network and entrepreneurial resources and new venture growth, three key variables are newly designed in this paper.
