With the rapid growth of the domestic economy, the escalator industry has also been rapid development. At present foreign major escalator brand through the form of sole proprietorship or joint venture in China to further promote the localization of manufacturing process, has occupied half of the domestic escalator market. And domestic brands of the escalator enterprises, with the technology industry's rapid development has been the rapid growth, such as Kangli, Jiajie and other enterprises in recent years the development of very quickly. G company as a local elevator on behalf of the brand, although the escalator business has been carried out more than a decade, but the product technology development is slow, technological innovation has not been a big breakthrough, sales growth is slow, is facing the risk of other companies beyond.Because of the continuous improvement of living standards of domestic residents, and life related scientific and technological progress, people's life closely related to the safety of products, energy saving, environmental protection and other functions are also more and more attention, which also led to a new round of technological innovation in the escalator industry. To make the G company in this round of products of technological innovation in the tide of lotic brave to catch up, the problems existing in the escalator project development process encountered in product development project process management, schedule management, quality management, cost management analysis, finally gives the corresponding solving measures.In the project process, improve the project development process, the project team members in the project development stages of the work tasks, application of customer demand analysis tool $APPEALS to analyze customer needs, and application of Quality Function Deployment(QFD) to customer needs into product development input information.In terms of project progress, the application of WBS for task decomposition, the use of critical path method to optimize the task sequence, shorten the project development cycle, to ensure that the project schedule is completed on time. In project quality management, using FMEA analysis and fishbone diagram on the quality of the design process of the control, in the stage of product small batch the PDCA management cycle and QC team to continuous improvement and improve the quality of the products. In cost control, the cost of product development in the project is controlled by improving the rate of product components, and improving the management of the supplier's evaluation.Finally, the conclusion and Prospect of this paper are given, and the product development projects in G company are improved in the project management.
