Research On Green Supply Chain Performance Evaluation Index System

In the constraints of resources and environment, the implementation of green supply chain management can promote the sustainable development of both the enterprise and environment, while evaluating the performance of green supply chain management reasonably and effectively is the key to promote the green supply chain management. Through the evaluation of green supply chain research, we can know the operation state and shortage of the whole supply chain. It can be referred to as the basis of the implementation for the related process. It also has the important realistic significance to enhance the competitiveness of their products, protect the environment and implement the strategy of sustainable development. To this end,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign literature of green supply chain performance evaluation and describes the life cycle theory, the Balanced Scorecard theory, the theory of the green supply chain performance evaluation, and the theory of corporate social responsibility which are related to the performance evaluation of green supply chain research life cycle theory. From three, we can design a set of green supply chain performance evaluation index system from three aspects,economic performance, environmental performance and social performance. The specific detailing of the index system should include the financial value, customer service, busyness process, learning and innovation ability, responsibility to shareholders, responsibility for creditor, responsibility for employees, responsibility for government, the responsibility for consumers, resource utilization, recycling,environmental effect and environmental reputation, etc. We select a representative enterprise to verify the effectiveness of the index system.The results show that the overall operation of that enterprise about its green supply chain management has been improved. Following the standard of degrees for green industries, this enterprise belongs to khaki green level. The main reason for them to take these‘green'action is that they can save a lot of energy and money.
