With the rise of smart phones, mobile phone shell, mobile chargers and other accessories market has grown into a contains huge business opportunities. At the same time, the competition is fierce. How to continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction, shorten the product development cycle and cost make by full use of limited resources, corporate profits and growth rate, bring a series of urgent need. Promote management level has become each mobile phone company's thinking and the focus of attention.The research object of this thesis is the K Company's capacity expansion and charging smart phone shell research and development project. By using the theory of project management theory, especially the progress management study progress of its research and development process management, solve the product development process planning, tracking is not timely, such problems as lack of schedule control, shorten product development time, the product to market faster, improve enterprise's core competitiveness.The main work done in this thesis is as follows:(1) The progress of the project management in the company's R & D project schedule is seriously lagging behind the planning cycle, the relationship of project work responsibility is ambiguous, communication is not smooth and their reasons for a detailed analysis. And monitor project effectively through the work structure decomposition, Responsibility decomposition, work sequencing, optimization of time estimation methods, and through the buffer zone.(2) For K company's basic situation, the structure of the organization and project characteristic, completed the project description, work breakdown structures, job descriptions, work, work time estimates, and draw the network diagram, find out the critical path for a project, compile the preliminary project schedule.(3) On the basis of preliminary plans, use critical chain method to the project schedule is optimized. On the basis of network diagram and critical path, based on the company's existing resource adjustment before the project each work tight relationship, balance the conflict of project resources, buffer elasticity coefficient method is used to set the key chain, formed a more reasonable project schedule.(4) Through the buffer monitoring for the effective management of the project schedule. Adopt integrated system point of view, its management focus on the monitoring of key chain, dynamic buffer monitoring method is adopted to establish the early warning mechanism, the project management buffer to absorb all kinds of uncertainty risk in project work, to ensure the project completed on schedule.
