Railway turnouts manufacturing is an important part of railway construction industry. Along with the implementation of Chinese "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", railway turnouts manufacturing industry has turned monopolization into multiple economy. The competition of this industry is more fierce. Especially in recent years, some medium-sized enterprises entered into this field which impact the market share of original monopolized state-owned companies. How to control cost, how to keep profit under price competition and how to minimize the contract period on the basis of high quality has become the key issue to improve self-competence in railway turnouts manufacturing industry.The paper stated the research background, purpose and value and theory, application and development status of production schedule optimizing. It also illustrates production schedule optimizing theory and model in large scale railway turnouts manufacturing.Base on the actual organization, layout, products composition, manufacturing procedure, production flow and production schedule method, the paper analyzes the data of CRSBG and then establishes the data model for railway turnouts manufacture of the company. After that, program was worked out according to MATLAB and schedule pattern of Turnouts workshop was achieved. The paper also analyzed Base-plate Workshop with 5W1H and ECRS method and got initial model of production schedule. Then based on the fact and analysis of CRSBG, the paper are trying to find the way on how to improve production schedule on railway turnouts manufacturing and how to optimize the company organization, schedule regulation, bottleneck management and staff competence. Finally, it concludes production schedule optimizing method of CRSBG.
