Large Scale And Complex Project Management Maturity Model And Its Application In S Company

Under the background of rapid technology development, S company as an enterprise of science and technology, which takes a number of major scientific projects and advanced application integration projects. These projects are larger-scale, complex and always involve many collaborative enterprises. Therefore, the management of these projects is very difficult. At present, S company is transformed into an organization of project management. In order to gradually improve the project governance management system, and continuously improve the ability of large and complex project management. S company decides to use the international advanced theory of project maturity management, which could improve the project management system gradually.There are common characteristics between current classical project maturity management, which could be used in the comparison of project maturity management among different companies. So we can make a judgement. However, the judgement system is comparatively vague and lack of pertinence. Therefore, it can's show the advantages and disadvantages of companies' ability of project management, which means it is not good for improving the ability of companies. Through the analysis and research of foreign and domestic complicated projects management and project maturity management, we are based on the management characteristics of S company and trying to build a spider-web model of maturity management to efficiently recognize the company's level of maturity management. Additionally, we organized company's management staffs and project managers to judge the maturity management of complicated projects so they can offer more useful advice to S company's ability of project management.
