Study Of Trade Facilitation's Impact On China's Machinery And Electronic Products Export To Asean Countries

With the deepening development of economic globalization in recent years,trade liberalization level also improved significantly.Every country have made great efforts in reducing and cutting the tariff and non-tariff barriers,which largely increased the volume of trade between countries.But at the same time,the influence of the development of trade liberalization on international trade has reduced,and “non-trade efficiency” has hindered the development of international trade more and more.So reducing the non efficiency of trade and namely promoting trade facilitation is becoming more and more important to promote trade scale,which has become hot topics between countries and international organizations this year.China and ASEAN Free Trade Zone(Hereinafter referred to as Free Trade Zon)officially completed in January 1,2010,which covers the world's most populous,and also is the biggest Free Trade Zon formed by the developing countries.With the further deepening of the CAFTA construction,the trade liberalization degree continues to improve,all this make trade volume increase steadily between countries.90% of products have achieved zero tariffs in Free Trade Zon,wnich we can know the falling tariff barries accelerate the pace of the trade liberalization.But the low port efficiency,cumbersome customs clearance procedures and opaque regulations,these “non-trae efficiency” as a kind of recessive market access barriers become an obstacle to the elements of cross-border flows.So to establish an efficient and convenient international trade environment has become the common expectation of the world.In this background,actively promoting the trade facilitation reform has great effect on the growth of bilateral trade.Based on the background mentioned above,this paper firstly introduces the connotation of trade facilitation,and generalizes the related theory of trade facilitation,and also finishing the relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars on trade facilitation.Secondly analyzes the current situation of Chinese mechanical and electrical products export to ASEAN countries from the export scale and structure two aspects.Thirdly selects 2009-2015 panel data of seven ASEAN countries,using the port efficiency,customs environment,regulation environment and electronic business 4 first-level indicators and their corresponding 15 secondary index to measure the trade facilitation index of countries,which come to the conclusion that the level of ASEAN trade facilitation is uneven.Lastly adopts the expanded trade gravity model to empirically analyze the ASEAN trade facilitation's impact on China's exports of mechanical and electronic products from the the overall effect and points index effect aspects.It is concluded that the level of ASEAN trade facilitation increase every 1%,the export of mechanical and electronic products to asean countries increased by about 3.279%,and different indicators has different influence.Then according that puts forword some relevant policy Suggestions.
