The development of Chinese is hot in the international scene,more and more students choose to study Chinese in China.In foreign language teaching,increasing vocabulary is the undergraduate third and fourth grade,and it is also an important and difficult stage of learning.This paper mainly focuses on the undergraduate third and fourth grade of foreign language vocabulary interpretation,trying to form an effective teaching mode of advanced stage.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into five chapters,the third and the four chapter is the key part of this paper.The first chapter: the characteristics of vocabulary and the principles of interpretation.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is divided into three years,each stage has a remarkable characteristics.Grades one,two predominantly early intermediate stage,lower difficulty involved words.The vocabulary third and fourth grade learning has increased significantly,and also increased the difficulty.Therefore,before the study of undergraduate teaching mode,during the third and fourth grade vocabulary words to deal with the interpretation,to understand the characteristics of thirty?four grade.We should also understand the features of undergraduate third and fourth grade,and follow the principle of definition of defining vocabulary teachingThe second chapter is the factors of vocabulary acquisition.In the process of undergraduate third and fourth grade vocabulary acquisition,students are prone to be affected by students' errors,inaccurate interpretation of textbooks,and some of the factors that influence teachers' teaching.Based on the analysis of these effects,we should try to avoid the occurrence of these problems in our teaching.The third chapter of the undergraduate third and fourth grade is teaching of new words.The author have findings in the senior stage of Chinese classroom observation and practice.to the By analyzing the new words in development of 'Chinese high-level synthesis 'and' modern Chinese advanced course ',it is summed up five kinds :direct interpretation,translation by the old interpretation,morpheme paraphrase,context interpretation and example sentences' interpretation Thus it forms a highly efficient teaching mode of word interpretation.The fourth chapter: idioms interpretation.Idioms in the undergraduate third and fourth grade of vocabulary learning is different from than that at the early and middle stage,.It has obvious variation.In undergraduate third and fourth grade,the increasing of Chinese idioms increases and hard understand are the obstacle for students in the senior stage of language learning.As the idiom is different from common words,idioms interpretation will get a own chapter.This paper suggests that the teaching of idioms is divided into three main ways,which are the literal extension,the tracing of allusion and the introduction of cultural background.The fifth chapter: comprehensive use of undergraduate third and fourth grade's word interpretation.Selecting an article of the 'development,the author will display a case study of interpretation mode to further complement our undergraduate third and fourth grade of the teaching model.
