Experimental Study On The Tone Of Henan Qingfeng Dialect

Qingfeng County is located in the northeast of Henan province. Qingfeng dialect belongs to the Zhengkai Section of Central Plains Mandarin. This article adopts the method of various acoustic experiments to study the single and double tone pitch and length of different age and different gender of the tones of Qingfeng dialect; and through the analysis of the methods of social linguistics, to investigate and analyze the factors influencing the development of the tone of Qingfeng dialect.The tones of Qingfeng dialect. Experimental results show that although the dialect tone is different due to the effects of age and gender, the type is consistent, should belong to the same kind. Integrated acoustic and listening experiments, we believe that this is the difference between the same tone variants. After the normalization,there are four tones of separate word in Qingfeng dialect:Yinping 24, Yangping 51,Shangsheng 55 and Qusheng 214. On the relative duration of mono-syllable tone:Qusheng 1.29> Yinping 0.98> Yangping 0.97> Shangsheng 0.77.Qusheng is the longest, Shangsheng is the shortest, the gap between Yinping and Yangping is small and they are in the middle.Integrated acoustic and auditory sense experiment, it can be identified that the patterns of tone sandhi basically meet that the former changes but the latter does not. Among them,when the latter word is Qusheng, it has two obvious variations:the falling tone 31 and the tortuous tone 213.Although there are differences of pitchs of mono-syllable tone in Qingfeng dialect, We believe in the circumstances that the main body movements of fundamental frequency are roughly the same and almost no difference on listening, these different words tone value are just the same tone pitch difference between adjustable type and they still belong to the same class in terms of tone category. There are four tones of separate word in Qingfeng dialect:Yinping 24, Yangping 51,Shangsheng 55 and Qusheng 214.Qusheng is the longest,Shangsheng is the shortest,the gap between Yinping and Yangping is small and they are in the middle. The former word has more forms than the latter word. When the tone of the former word is Yinping, although the tones has some tyepes, the basic trend has not changed, they are all rising tunes. When the tone of the former word is Yangping, the tone has two forms:if the latter is Qusheng, it becomes high level tone 55; the remaining cases are all high falling tone 53. When the tone of the former word is Shangsheng and the latter word is Yinping and Shangsheng,the former word remains unchanged. And when the latter word is Yangping and Qusheng,the former word has two tone pitch:43 and 554. When the tone of the former word is Qusheng,it has all kinds of the types of the tone:the falling tone (31.32), the tortuous tone 213 and the low-rising tone 25.On the relative duration of the mono-syllable tone, the former word:Qusheng 0.42> Yinping 0.36> Yangping= Shangsheng 0.34; the latter word:Qusheng 0.44> Yinping 0.43> Yangping 0.41> Shangsheng 0.36.The age is an important factor in the influence of pitchs of mono-syllable tone and the gender is an important factor on influencing the modulation domain. Through the summary and analysis of the data of the 120 questionnaires, we believe that our use of Qingfeng dialect are gradually narrowing,but the use fields of Putonghua is growing.
