Secondary School Students' QQ Space Text Emotion Research

With the rapid development of Internet, social networking sites have been widely covered. Although user activity of SNS has decreased in recent years, QQ zone is still used actively because of its transformation to the general SNS. The students of Secondary vocational, as a large user group of QQ zone, have more emotional problems due to the pressure from life and academic. This study intends to explore the emotional characteristics of these students in QQ zone and analyze the correlation between emotion and grades in school examination.From two dimensions, namely positive and negative of the emotion, taking secondary students as subjects, the research uses network software and discuss issue from the following four aspects; (1) characteristics of these students'emotion in QQ zone; (2) neuroticism influences the number of emotional words expressed in zone; (3) emotional intensity is correlated with emotional intensity expressed in zone; (4) the feature of emotion influences learning.The questionnaire data and text data are analyzed through statistical analysis methods, the results will be listed as below:(1) There are some gender differences in these aspects:behavior of uploading photos in zone, QQ age, QQ usage, neuroticism, emotional fluctuations in zone and learning achievement; (2) there is positive correlation between positive emotion and negative emotion, both experienced in life and expressed in zone; (3) there is positive correlation between neuroticism and negative emotion frequency; (4) there is positive correlation between negative emotion frequency and emotional intensity in zone; there is positive correlation between positive frequency and positive emotional intensity in zone; (5) the higher the negative emotion frequency, the lower the learning achievement rated by oneself; the higher positive emotional fluctuations,the lower the learning achievement rated by oneself; the higher emotional intensity, the lower the learning achievement rated by oneself; (6) the better the learning achievement; the higher the learning achievement rated by oneself.
