With the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand, now we facing the important problems of teaching and should pay more attention to tit at present: how to improve the efficiency of language teaching, and how to ensure the quality of it. This paper focuses on the concept of Situational teaching method, combined with the author'teaching experiences in Samutprakan high school, shows the rationality of the implementation of the method.On the theoretical level, the paper describs the basic theory and research status of the Situational teaching method in detail, in order to search the possibility of the implementation of the method theoretically.On the practical level, based on the possibility and necessity of the Situational teaching method in oral Chinese class in elementary school analyzed the students' Chinese proficiency and the expectations about new teaching methods, and finally this paper choosed "what time is it now" to demonstrate a complete process of teaching activities and analyse the teaching results, and then discuss the effectiveness of application about the method for oral Chinese class in senior high school.By using my teaching experiences about Conversational Chinese 301 lesson 8:what time is it now to show that the Situational teaching method is useful for spoken Chinese teaching in senior high school and I hope it can provides new thoughts for oral Chinese teaching in Thailand.
