Nowadays, with the global Mandarin Fever and the emergence of Confucius Institute, the overall trend of Chinese spreading and teaching in our neighbor Japan is in the turns and twists to go forward. However, generally speaking, the Mandarin fever in Japan is a temporarily prosperity which occurred only by the input from China. In Japan, most students hold an unclear purpose and relatively limited motivation on learning Chinese, with the difficulties such as disarrangement of curriculum, difference in teaching process and environment, personal variety among students, and the misunderstanding in Second Language Acquisition Theory, result in a non-ideal situation among Japanese students. Besides, most learners' persistence in learning Chinese shows a trend of decline. Therefore, Most of them give up learning Chinese after reaching an intermediate level. With the longer learning time and more difficulties in learning process, the number of Chinese learners is on an obvious downward trend. Besides, the political frictions between China and Japan happen now and then, Chinese teaching and learning cannot be widely spread and carried out fluently. Therefore, by analyzing students' change of motivation, learning process, teaching material, teaching situation and personal variety, with the reference of current problems and challenges in Chinese spreading, combining frontier research-teaching ideas combine structure, function and culture, this article takes Chou university as an example, come up with some factors hinder the spread of Chinese in Japan and provide some solutions accordingly. Also, this article also explains the effect of learners' learning result on the spread of Chinese. Finally, from this perspective, with the international environment and teaching situation, the article also predicts the unknown challenges and problems that the Chinese will face in the future and come up with some personal opinions and solutions on how to refine the way of spreading Chinese.
