Research On Japanese Plant Proverbs And Chinese Translation Skills Based On Metaphor

As the cultural essence,the proverb reflects the national culture and social concept,so it's one of the linguistic phenomenon of the most national characteristic.Plants and humans are in close relationship,not only for our survival,but also for our spiritual civilization.Therefore,the combination of plants and proverbs--the plant proverb is desered the research.As he point of traditional linguistics,metaphor is only a kind of language phenomenon.With the deepening of the metaphor study,it was found that metaphor is also a mode of thinking and cognitive tool that is dependent upon learning and living.Based on previous research,I realized that the Japanese mind tends to be objective thinking which accelerates the expanse of metaphor,and then the metaphor further deepens people's understanding of things and affects the formation and change of the representational objects in the mind.Collecting the Japanese plant proverbs and combining with the related theory of cognitive metaphor study,I have carried on research by distinguishing the Japanese plant proverb into source domain and target domain,and then according to the types of source domain,further divided into the affair proverbs and event proverbs.Moreover,this paper also studies the characteristics of the source domain,target domain and the mechanism of metaphor.As the start of this passage,the proverb is one of the most ethnic linguistic phenomena.Strong ethnic,regional,historical and cultural colors maks it difficult to translate: Not only to accurately translate the content,but also to to take care of and reproduce the rhetorical features and language styles of proverbs which is keeping bother the translation field.I do not think there is a universal translation method.Case by case.Including be clear of the purpose and effect of translation,the translatability of the source domain is also a consideration.In order to realize the content equivalence,rhetoric equivalence,language features equivalence,from the translatability of the source domain of the plant proverbs,I believe that the method of translation of plant proverbs is regular.The specific method is to regard literal translation as the main metord and free translation as complementary.
