This article makes an investigation into the rhyming of Ci in middle area mandarin of Song dynasty?Jin and Yuan dynasty,which uses Quansongci. Quanjinyuanci edtited by Mr Tang Guizhang ,and Quansongci Buji edtited by Kong Fanli as basic materials, then collects 1511 Ci and 1853 rhymes of Song dynasty ; 1527 Ci and 1754 rhymes of Jin and Yuan dynasty? This article draws the following conclusions:1?The rhyming system in middle area mandarin of Song dynasty can be classified into 17 categories,which contains seven categories of Yin sheng rhymes: Zhi-Wei (??)?Jie-Lai (??)?Yu-Mu (??)?Xiao-Hao (??)?Ge-Ge (??)?Che-Ma (??)?You-Hou(??);seven categories of Yang sheng rhymes: Dong-Zhong (??)?Jiang-Yang (??)?Zhen-Wen (??)?Han-Xian (??)?Geng-Deng (??)?Tan-Xian (??);three categories of Ru sheng rhymes: Wu-Zhu (??)?Duo-Jue (??)?Xue-Zhi (??)?The rhyming system in middle area mandarin of Jin and Yuan dynasty can be classified into 18 categories,which contains seven categories of Yin sheng rhymes : which contains seven categories of Yin sheng rhymes: Zhi-Wei (??)?Jie-Lai (??)?Yu-Mu (??)?Xiao-Hao (??)?Ge-Ge(??)?Che-Ma(??)?You-Hou(??);seven categories of Yang sheng rhymes: Dong-Zhong(??)?Jiang-Yang (??)?Zhen-Wen (??)?Han-Xian (??)?Geng-Deng (??)?Jian-Xian (??)?Lian-Xian (??);three categories of Ru sheng rhymes: Wu-Zhu(??)?Duo-Jue (??)?Xue-Zhi (??)?The latter is the inheritance of the former,but more akins to Zhongyuan-Yinyue?2?There are some special phenomena between different rhymes in the the rhyming system in middle area mandarin of Song dynasty?_ Jin and Yuan dynasty, such as Yu-Mu and You-Hou,Han-Xian and Tan-Xian and so on?some phenomena only exist in the the rhyming system in middle area mandarin of Jin and Yuan dynasty, for example: Ge-Ge and Yu-Mu, Jiang-Yang and Dong-Zhong?The crosses of rhyming of Song dynasty seldom reflect the dialect characters,mostly are due to the archaic phonology or main vowels?Most crosses of rhyming of Jin and Yuan dynasty can reflect the the dialect characters and be influenced by North-West dialect of Tang and Five dynasty?3?The rhyming system in middle area mandarin of Song dynasty?Jin and Yuan dynasty both reflect some phonetic change at that time, mainly contain: some Hui rhyme category and round-mouth characters of Tai rhyme category belong to Zhi-Wei , some still are in the developing course of evolution from "Jie-Lai" to "Zhi-Wei" ; Jia and Guai rhyme characters belong to Che-Ma,suchas : jia (?)?gua (?)?ba (?)?hua (?):some labial words of You-Hou and Yu-Mu are mutually applied, some are mutually applied to You-Hou and Yu-Mu at the same time? The tail vowel of Xue-Zhi turn into glottal stop,the tail vowels of Wu-Zhu and Duo-Jue also weaken in Jin and Yuan dynasty ?...
