| By making an exhausive study of the rhyming of 4434 poems written by 81 poets, who were from Tongchuan(æ½¼å·)in the Song (宋) Dynasty, the article has generalised their rhyming system which consists of 17 rhyme categories, that's is to say,7 Yin-sheng (阴声) ,6 Yang-sheng(阳声)and 4 Ru-sheng(入声).Compared with the system used in the common language in the Song(宋)Dymsty,it has merged category Zhen-wen(真文)into category Geng-qing(庚é’),and the new one is called catego ry Zhen-qing(真é’).Some dialect information has revealed in the rhyming system used by the poets from Tongchuan( æ½¼å·),for example, category Ge(æŒ) contacts with category Hao(豪),Yu(é±¼)vfith You(å°¤), Zhi(支) with Yu(é±¼), Yang-ping(阳平) branches and so on.However, there is no dialect sign in modern dialects in Tongchuan(æ½¼å·)and Sichuan (å››å·)for particular historic reason, but it's most close to the ryhyming characteristics in Fujian(ç¦å»º) in the Song(宋)Dynasty and modern dialects in Fujian(ç¦å»º).The reason, perhaps, is that the two areas have the same immigrants speaking same dialects, and the two dialects take same forms in the similar processes. In a word, the language used in the rhyming system in Tongchuan(æ½¼å·)is the common language but is much influenced by dialects,in other words, the regional variants of the common language. |
