| China’s kite art has a long history.It can be traced back up to two thousand years ago.At first,it was used in military as a vehicle.Later,it was widely circulated in the folk as a folk art.It not only can be flew and used in competition as a recreational play tool,but also can be enjoyed and collected as a folk arts and crafts with high artistic value.Weifang kite,although seemingly simple,has experienced thousands of years of inheritance and development.It contains a rich folk culture and innovative artistic value.As a traditional folk art and intangible cultural heritage,its elements,such as its modeling aesthetic art and craftsmanship,are of a very high research value.In this paper,through field study of Weifang and Weifang kite related literature research,Weifang kite was studied and discussed from five aspects respectively.First of all,in Chapter I,with the legend of the origin of Weifang kite and the process of historical development as the breakthrough point,the historical origins of Weifang kite was combed with focus on analyzing the profound cultural connotation of Weifang kite.Then,in Chapter Ⅱ,based on different classification standards,combing the information of various field research,the category and genre of Weifang kite was summarized.Then in Chapter Ⅲ,the production steps were introduced in detail from the principle of flying to the making,pasting,painting and flying process,and combined with the experience of field visits,the difference and precautions of different types of Weifang kite in the production process were studied carefully.Then,in Chapter IV,combined with various styles of exquisite Weifang kite,the aesthetic value of various visual elements,such as the styling style,composition form,design pattern and color expression,were analyzed in depth,thereby demonstrating the unique artistic charm of Weifang kite.Finally,in Chapter V,the favorable conditions and how to protect Weifang kite were explored,thereby promoting the better development of Weifang kite art. |
