Idioms in modern Chinese mandarin,a kind of idioms,have the features of fixed forms,high intensity in meaning,simple writing styles and marked commendatory or derogatory meanings.Idioms,a language unit frequently used in language communication,are lively and vivid.They are a point of interest and difficulty in foreign students' acquisition of Chinese.Meanwhile,they are an unavoidable teaching puzzle in the teaching of chinese as a foreign language.Japan belongs to the cultural circle of Chinese characters.In the course of long-term social and cultural exchange with China,Japanese has borrowed numerous Chinese idioms and included them in the Japanese language system.Japanese students have born advantages in learning Chinese idioms.In the meantime,their acquisition of Chinese idioms differs from that of students of other countries due to the differences in aspects of language and culture.In the acquisition process there appear many "unique" biased errors by Japanese students.The thesis,taking Japanese students' biased errors in Chinese idioms acquisition as research subject,explains and analyzes Japanese students' biased errors on the basis of studying the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese idioms.Also,teaching strategies aimed at the teaching of Chinese idioms to Japanese students are presented.
