Special music education,an inter-discipline between special education and music education,plays a significant role in the field of contemporary education.With the rapid development of the global economy,the continuous improvement of humanistic care and education,a special and vulnerable group has been neglected in education.The development of special education is one of the significant symbols to measure the comprehensive strength of a country,and it is closely connected with the development of a country,which has become a new research subject of educational scholars.For a long time,our country has paid little attention to special education and its special music education.Taking Lhasa as an example,its special environmental factors,in the Southwest China Plateau,leads to its slower development in comparison with other areas in China and there are great challenges in the development of special music education in Lhasa.However,it is imperative to develop and transmit special music education because it is possible to rapidly and effectively promote the development of economy,humanistic environment and education in Lhasa if the disadvantaged groups in the backward regions are paid more attention to.A research is made theoretically and practically in this paper based on the current status and history of Lhasa's special music education: firstly,finding out the current difficulties and problems in the development of Lhasa's special music education;secondly,analyzing and studying the problems discovered;thirdly,putting forward the corresponding solutions.Through the above research,this paper is aimed at presenting some new ideas to promote the development of Lhasa's special music education,at providing a reference for the reform of special music education in Lhasa and at causing the attention of the relevant education and government branches,so as to cooperate with each other together to solve the relevant problems and to promote the development of Lhasa's special music education.This paper is composed of the following parts:The first parts are the introduction of research object,research background,objective,methods and other aspects.The second part is the subject orientation and the definition of special music education,explaining the relationship between special music education and the related disciplines and the application of music therapy.The third part introduces the history of Lhasa's special music education and the typical special education cases in representative special schools,and analyzes the investigation data obtained mainly including the support and attention of government to special music education,the number of teachers and the current status of education quality,the current status of music teaching instruments,textbooks and curriculum design,etc.The fourth part summarizes the significance of special music education from the aspects of its psychological construction function,physical rehabilitation function and aesthetic training function;The fifth part mainly outlines the major problems,the relevant reasons and the countermeasures of Lhasa's special music education.
