Survey Of The Status Of Overseas Chinese Volunteers

In order to help the world solve the problem of shortage of Chinese teachers,promote the international Chinese education career develop smoothly,the Chinese ministry of education of the non-governmental organisations(ngos)and the Confucius institute headquarters hanban in March 2004 to organize the implementation of the "Chinese volunteer teachers(hereinafter referred to as the" Chinese volunteers "or" volunteers ")" project.We sent to Heilongjiang University in 2014-2014 volunteers as investigation object,and collects and according to the basic information of the volunteers nearly four years,combined with the data analysis,investigation,questionnaire and individual interview to 45 overseas volunteer's basic situation,the teaching situation,life and psychological conditions,and investigate the professional attitude and career planning.Found that volunteers overall survival situation is a benign development overseas,but still is common in the aspect of teaching classroom management problems,life there is a language communication barriers,psychological aspects work pressure,even a small number of volunteers are different degree of anxiety and depression.Therefore,according to the general problems existing in the volunteers,we analyze and discuss the three aspects of "role orientation","life and psychological adaptation" and "intercultural communication".Finally,the author puts forward the corresponding solutions and coping strategies from three aspects: the sending unit,the training unit and the individual volunteer.
